The workshop itself is 3-4 hrs, plenty of time to make both rings and have them finished to a good standard, suitable for a wedding band.

The workshop itself costs will be £350 for two rings (Either for one person making both rings or for a couple). This price includes a pre-class consultation during which time we can determine styles and material choices, private tuition and use of all tools throughout workshop, light refreshments and home made cake.

A separate material charge for the gold or sterling silver you use would be payable on the day. The cost of a silver ring is usually between £5 and £25. The gold can be ordered in: Jordanne can give you a quote for this after the pre-class consultation. As you can appreciate, the price of gold is much higher than silver and, as such, will need more consideration & planning.

If you’d like to make a gold wedding ring, here’s a rough idea of what the gold will cost, depending on your design and your ring size:

A 9ct white, yellow or rose gold lady’s ring is usually £70 to £350, and a man’s between £100 and £500. An 18ct white, yellow or rose gold lady’s ring will be £150 to £600, and a man’s ring approximately £250 to £1000.

Other optional costs could include hallmarking (£40 per ring)
